After seeing my fair share of subway ads, I found myself at home one night, scrolling through https://opendata.cityofnewyork.us/. With over 2,000 available datasets, I decided to begin by exploring data pertaining to the underlying questions I've had about the city around me.

Residing in the West Village, I spent many days this summer wandering by the Carmine Swimming Pool. I was shocked by the clean and sparkling appearance, and honestly would not have expected a public pool to look so nice. I was curious about who really goes there, what their regulations are, how clean is it really?

This will be my first deep dive into NYC DATA. Results to follow, stay tuned!
